Before relocating to Australia, Jamie Abraham started his working career driving, and then eventually managing a heavy transport company in New Zealand.

With over 17 years of underground coal mining experience, he started his mining career at the edge of the industry, and progressed his way through to senior management level, earning a reputation for delivering projects on time and under budget.

Now the director of ABM, Jamie is accountable for the overall achievement of all company objectives and sets the standards we use to build a professional, competent service provider.

As  Systems Manager, Rebecca ensures the accountabilities as a service provider are industry relevant and current. Focused on delivering exceptional results and predictable outcomes, Rebecca has an impeccable reputation for creating strategies which transfer plans into workable solutions.

Rebecca’s enthusiasm and holistic approach to all undertakings will ensure that the company contributes in a meaningful way to the clients to which ABM is contracted. Thanks to her systems driven attitude and focus on project delivery, coupled with the belief that success is in the detail, Rebecca strengthens ABM Contractors’ position as industry leaders.

As Project Manager, through the application of a diverse system of technical and managerial capabilities, Seamus manages and plans the deployment of personnel and resources to effectively achieve objectives at Carborough Downs.

With an extensive mining background of over 30 years experience in underground mining, Seamus brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, and is committed to meeting the high standards and level of expectation required by clients. With a unique skill set, Seamus is directly responsible for numerous activities from budgeting and project scheduling to employment and dispute resolution.

With over 38 years experience, Rob compliments operations with a wealth of experience from hard rock mining to civil and underground coal mining. The company’s goal is to draw upon Rob’s skill set in  coal projects knowing that his experience and knowledge will offer a positive extension to project delivery. Rob leads by example and his positive attitude and ongoing commitment to outcomes has earned him a professional reputation with clients.

Currently holding the position of Project Manager at the Moranbah North Project, Rob is well respected by the teams that he leads, having the unique ability to bring out the best in his workforce and is key to ABM Contractors’ ongoing success.

Proficient in all underground equipment within Development operations & being a vastly experienced miner driver, Ben has helped Kestrel Coal Resources to become the industry leader in development coal driveage cutting rates.

Ben’s role as automation specialist see’s him responsible for overseeing the completion of work within daily process work windows and deliver on development safety and production targets including cutting coal in process work windows and managing variance to plan.

Responsible for a team of ten operators whilst delivering on safety and production targets. This includes conformance to plan and panel standards.
